If you moved and forgot to update your Avondy account, or you misspelt the address to send a gift to, don’t worry! You can change to the correct address for your order before it’s shipped, as long as the new address is not in a different country.

Change the shipping address after you placed an order

  • If you placed an order with an incorrect shipping address, first check that your order hasn’t shipped yet:
  • On Avondy.com, click the Your Account icon.
  • Click Orders
  • To the right of your order, you’ll see either Shipped or Not Shipped:

My order is Not Shipped yet

If your item is Not Shipped yet, you can contact the store to update your address on the order or cancel your order. You can then re-order the items with the correct shipping address.

My order was already Shipped

If your item is Shipped, check the seller’s policies to see if they are able to offer a replacement or refund. Each seller has their own policies that are on their store homepage. Contact the store to request a replacement or refund.

You can also contact the shipping service to see if they can reroute the order.

If your package is missing, most shipping services require that the sender open a claim. If this is the case, you may need to ask the seller to assist you.

Change the shipping address during checkout

You can update your address when you checkout on Avondy.com:

  1. Add an item(s) to your cart.
  2. Click Cart.
  3. Choose how you’ll pay.
  4. Click Proceed to checkout.
  5. Sign in to your Avondy account if you haven’t already, or click Continue as a guest.
  6. Under Shipping address, check that the address you want your order shipped to is correct. If it isn’t correct, click Change.
  7. Select a shipping address or click Add an address to enter a new address. Click Ship here once you have the right address.
  8. Click Place your order.

Change the shipping address to a different country

If you need the shipping address on your order changed to a one in a different country, you’ll have to cancel your order and place it again with your new address.

If you ordered from Avondy, you may have tracking information for your package. You can check the status of your order on the Orders page on Avondy.com. Next to your order, you’ll see the shipping status:

  • Not Shipped: The seller hasn’t shipped the order yet or didn’t update the order on Avondy.
  • Shipped: The seller marked the order as shipped.
  • In Transit: The seller added a tracking number and the package has left the shipping facility.

If your order says Shipped, but there are no further updates, either:

  • Your order doesn’t include tracking information
  • The shipping carrier hasn’t logged the package’s movement yet
  • The seller hasn’t given the package to the shipping carrier yet

If your order is Not Shipped yet or you have questions about tracking your package, you can contact the seller to check in on the order status.

If your order is Shipped or In Transit, you can track your order if you have a tracking number. 

To find your order:

  1. Sign in to Avondy.com 
  2. Click the Your Account icon.
  3. Click Orders
  4. Find your order on the Order page. 

You can check the status of your order on the Orders page on Avondy.com. Next to your order, you’ll see the shipping status:

  • Not Shipped: The seller hasn’t shipped the order yet or didn’t update the order on Avondy.
  • Shipped: The seller marked the order as shipped.
  • In Transit: The seller added a tracking number and the package has left the shipping facility.

If the seller added tracking information, you’ll see Track Package under the shipping status. Click Track Package to see tracking updates from the shipping carrier.

If your order is Not Shipped yet, you can contact the seller to check in on the order status.

If your order is Shipped or In Transit, you can track your order if you have a tracking number. 

To find your order:

  1. Sign in to Avondy.com 
  2. Click the Your Account icon.
  3. Click Orders
  4. Find your order on the Orders page.

All items on Avondy.com are sold by independent sellers.

To cancel a purchase on Avondy:

  1. Sign in to Avondy.com.
  2. Click the Your Account icon.
  3. Click Orders
  4. Find the order you want to cancel.
  5. Click Inquiry.

Request that the seller cancel the order and click Send.

Accepting your request is up to the individual seller. Submitting a cancellation request doesn’t automatically cancel your order.

All items on Avondy.com are sold by independent sellers. Each seller has their own set of policies that you can find on their store homepage. Check the store’s homepage to see their cancellation policy. 

 How to cancel a purchase without an Avondy account

You can contact the seller by replying to the receipt email you received when you placed your order. Request that the seller cancel your order. The email receipt is from support@avondy.com

Accepting your request is up to the individual seller. Submitting a cancellation request doesn’t automatically cancel your order.

If you want to create an account and cancel your order, find the receipt that was emailed to you after purchase. Click the order number, and you’ll be taken to Avondy.com where you’ll be prompted to create an account.

Who is the seller?

All items on Avondy.com are sold by independent sellers. 

If you’re unsatisfied with an order, you may be able to return or exchange your order depending on the store’s policies. To request a return, return label, or exchange, contact the store:

  1. Sign in to Avondy.com 
  2. Click or tap the Your Account icon.
  3. Click or tap Orders
  4. Click Help with order next to the order you’re interested in.
  5. Click or tap Inquiry.
  6. In the textbox that appears, let the seller know that you’d like to return or exchange an item.

What are store policies?

Each seller on Avondy is responsible for their own policies regarding refunds, exchanges, and returns. Policies vary from store to store.

Before purchasing, review the store’s Returns & exchanges policy. You can find the store’s policies on the listing page under Shipping & returns, or by clicking Policies at the top of their store homepage.

Specific questions about a store’s policies are best answered by the seller. Contact the store with any questions about their policies.

What should I do if the seller doesn’t accept returns?

If the seller doesn’t accept returns, you may be able to open a case with Avondy by sending an email to support@avondy.com. You can open a case if your order wasn’t as it was described on Avondy.

To leave a review:

  1. On Avondy.com 
  2. Click Orders.
  3. Find the item you want to review.
  4. Click the star rating you want to give next to Review this item.
  5. Write your review in the textbox.
  6. Click Post your review.

If you purchased several items from the same store, you can leave a review for each item.

How reviews work on Avondy

You can use Avondy’s five-star review system (one being the lowest and five being the highest) to review your purchases. Reviews help other shoppers on Avondy make informed decisions about what to purchase, and reviews help sellers know how they’re doing.

When you leave a review, your profile information is publicly displayed in the seller’s reviews.

When can I leave a review?

You can leave a review once your order is marked as delivered or on the estimated delivery date. You have 100 days from when the order was delivered or the estimated delivery date to leave your review. You can edit your review any number of times during that 100 day period.

For purchases of digital items, the 100 day period begins when you download the file(s).

Can I leave a review for an Avondy item bought through Square?

Reviews on Avondy can only be left for items that have been sold through Avondy. If you sell an item in-person through Square, the buyer can’t leave a review on Avondy.com. The buyer can leave a review on Square.

What happens if my order is canceled?

Keep in mind that if an order or transaction is canceled, Avondy considers that order or transaction to be over and voided. However, it can take up to 48 hours for the cancellation to process, during which time an eligible review can be left and edited.

Review Period

Buyers have a 100 calendar day window for leaving reviews. This time frame preserves the integrity of the Avondy marketplace and to help ensure that reviews are accurate and timely.

The option to leave a review for an order begins on the order’s delivery date or estimated delivery date.

If your order has delivery tracking, the delivery date is when the shipping carrier marks your order as Delivered.

If your order doesn’t have delivery tracking, the estimated delivery date can vary depending on an order’s processing time and shipping time.

Processing time

The processing time is the length of time it takes the seller to ship an order after it has been placed. If the seller doesn’t provide their own processing time, the order will automatically be given a 5-business day processing time.

If the order contains multiple items with different processing times, the maximum processing time is used, whether it was a pre-set processing time or the estimate of 5 days for items without a processing time.

Note: Processing times are determined by the seller.

Shipping time

The shipping time is the number of days it takes the order to ship to the buyer. We use 4 business days for domestic orders within any country and 10 business days for international shipments.

Review restrictions

Keep in mind that reviews can’t be left or edited while a case is open for a particular transaction. The 100 calendar days to leave a review can run through the duration of a case.

Also, reviews cannot be left or edited for canceled transactions once the cancellation is processed, which takes 48 hours after the seller cancels.

If a seller responds to a review with 3 stars or less, the option to edit the original review will no longer be available.

Note: Reviews can only be left for items sold through Avondy. If you sell an item in-person through Square, the buyer can’t leave a review on Avondy.com. The buyer can leave a review in Square.

Although you’re unable to delete a review, you can edit the star rating and the written note any number of times while the review is still eligible to be left. 

Note: If you leave a review of 3 stars or fewer, and the seller responds, you won’t be able to edit the review, even if the seller deletes their response.

If you received an email from Avondy about an order that you didn’t place, a few things may have happened:

  • Someone may have misspelled their email address when registering for an Avondy account
  • Someone may have created an Avondy account using your email address
  • Someone may have placed an order from a computer where you were logged into Avondy

If you didn’t place this order or you believe your account has been compromised, email support@avondy.com

If you contacted the seller about an order, and the seller hasn’t responded in a reasonable amount of time, you have a few options:

Contact the seller over email

If your order hasn’t arrived, or the items aren’t as they were described on Avondy, you can email support@avondy.com to open a case.

To report a problem with an order:

  1. Sign in to Avondy.com 
  2. Click or tap the Your Account icon.
  3. Click or tap Orders
  4. Click Help with order next to the order you’re interested in.
  5. Click or tap Message seller.
  6. In the textbox that appears, describe the problem to the seller.
  7. Click or tap the arrow icon or press Enter to send. The seller will be notified of the new message and can respond.

 Who is the seller?

Each item on Avondy is sold by an independent seller. Reach out to the seller if:

  • You haven’t received your order
  • The item isn’t as it was described
  • You want a refund
  • You want to return the item

Each seller has their own store policies, so be sure to review those before contacting the seller. This can include how they handle returns, refunds, and cancellations. If a seller doesn’t specify their store policies, you can refer to our Seller Agreement.

If you and the seller need assistance from Avondy to come to a resolution, you can email support@avondy.com to open a case. We recommend that you work with the seller to resolve the problem before you open a case.

For EU buyers:

Our Case System is the most effective and speediest means of resolving disputes between buyers and sellers. However, if you don’t want to use our Case System, you have the option of using the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform instead.

Request a refund

If you’re unsatisfied with an order, you may be able to request a refund for your order depending on the store’s policies. To request a refund, contact the store:

Sellers aren’t required to provide a refund unless stated in their store policies
